JOBS: Assistant Coach - Kent CCC

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Coach of Kent County Cricket Club. The role is a key position and requires the successful candidate to help create an environment in which players can deliver to their full potential thereby optimising the short and long term playing performance objectives of Kent Cricket.
The Assistant Coach will be responsible for the support of the development of talent throughout the county. This includes working with the Kent County Cricket Club 1st and 2nd Teams, the Kent Cricket Academy and Kent Performance Squads. The position will support coaches and players in the identification of key objectives that feed into Individual Player Development Plans and will be responsible for monitoring progress against these objectives.
Reporting to the Head Coach, the successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the Club’s cricket operation; ensuring that performance matches potential; supporting all aspects around the team to enable success and working to ensure the development of all players’ talent.
Suitable candidates will be astute, results driven, have outstanding and demonstrable man/team management skills, be well organised, have a track record of success gained through effective coaching at all levels and will currently be successful in a senior coaching position. A knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the game is absolutely critical.
